Training Lights – reaction lights

Training Lights are a modern training aid that literally lights up your practice and takes players' reactions to a new level. The set consists of three to four differently coloured light strips controlled by a mobile app; it was developed in cooperation with students of FIT CTU in Prague. You place the strips as needed – hang them on the net or lay them on the floor.

The strips light up in a random order and the player's task is to play the ball in their direction as quickly as possible. This simulates the visual cues a player has to react to exactly as in a match. It naturally develops peripheral vision, decision-making speed and reactions under pressure. Place the strips at the block and by the setter, so you can train attack, block, setting and defence.

You set the lighting speed and the difficulty of the drills directly in the app, so the aid serves youth and professional teams alike. The mobile app requires a newer version of Android – it may not work on older devices.
