About us

The Pilsen-based company KaroVolley was founded in 2014 by the married couple Jakub Koloušek and Karolína Myslíková-Koloušková in cooperation with Petr Cibulka. The metal parts of our trainers are crafted by David Bůcha and his metalworking workshop – precise welded structures that give all our aids their strength, accuracy and long service life. We design and manufacture volleyball trainers and training aids – from block and spike trainers through setting and reception baskets to hurdles and ball carts.

Every trainer is made to measure according to the individual requirements of the customer, so delivery takes about four weeks. A discount is possible for larger orders by mutual agreement – you will find all prices in our price list.

Our clients include clubs from all over the Czech Republic as well as Slovakia, Switzerland and Hungary. VK ČEZ Karlovarsko, multiple champions of the Czech volleyball Extraliga, use our trainers intensively in their daily training – have a look at our gallery.

Karolína Koloušková Myslíková

Karolína Koloušková Myslíková

Born on 27 March 1971 in Pilsen into the Myslík volleyball family. She started playing volleyball at the age of six at Slavia VŠ Plzeň, from where she moved to Slavia IPS in Prague. From the age of nineteen she played in Turkey (Yeşilyurt, Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, İller Bankası Ankara, Halkbank Ankara), where she spent 11 seasons – she took four runner-up titles, won the presidential cup and twice played in the Final Four of the Champions Cup. She then also played in Greece for Olympiacos Piraeus. After returning to the Czech Republic she won two runner-up silver medals with Olymp Prague and added one 2nd and one 3rd place with Slavia Prague. She ended her active playing career at the age of 46. Today she coaches the U20 and U18 junior Extraliga teams of VK Klatovy.

Jakub Koloušek

Jakub Koloušek

Born in 1971 in Prague. He started with volleyball at VŠ Praha, from where he moved to VK Praha. With the junior national team he finished 4th at the 1990 European Championship. His greatest club successes came at Olymp Prague, where he won two championship titles and one runner-up title. After VK Olymp was dissolved he continued at USK Prague, Nymburk and SK Perštejn and ended his first-league career in Dobřichovice; abroad he played in Turkey, Poland, Slovakia and France. He ended his professional playing career in 2005 and became a professional soldier of the Czech Army, serving on the foreign missions KFOR (Kosovo, 2010) and EUTM in Mali, Africa (2020). He stayed with volleyball as a coach of first-league men's and women's teams. In 2021–2022 he was assistant coach of the Extraliga team VK ČEZ Karlovarsko alongside Jiří Novák, with whom he won the championship title in the Czech volleyball Extraliga in 2022. In 2022–2024 he formed the coaching duo at VK Benátky together with Aleš Dyttrich – in the 2022/2023 season they took 3rd place in the Extraliga and 5th place in the CEV Cup. In the 2025/2026 season he coached Dukla Liberec and since 2026 he has been the coach of the men's Extraliga team SKV Ústí nad Labem.
